Everything Linkava does

Linkava has two halves. The web half is your profile page and QR code — free, no app needed, and scannable by anyone with a phone camera. The app half is the personal CRM: scanning other people in, tagging them to the event where you met, and following up until the introduction turns into something.

In one sentence: Linkava replaces the paper business card with a QR code that never goes out of date, and replaces the shoebox of cards you collected with a searchable contact list that remembers where you met each person.

Your QR profile page

Every Linkava account gets a public page at linkava.me/your-name and a QR code that points at it. The page carries your photo, name, job title, a short bio, and every way to reach you as tappable buttons. Someone scans the code with their normal camera app, the page opens in their browser, and they tap through to whichever channel they prefer — WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn, whatever.

The important property is that the code is stable. It encodes your page URL, not your contact details, so changing jobs, numbers or handles never invalidates a printed code. Print it on a badge, a lanyard, a laptop sticker, a slide, or the back of a card you already have, and keep editing what it leads to.

A Linkava profile supports twelve kinds of link, each rendered with its own icon and correct deep-link behaviour:

  • Messaging: WhatsApp, Telegram, Zalo, Snapchat
  • Professional: LinkedIn, email, phone, website
  • Social: Instagram, TikTok, X, Laittern

Free profiles display up to five links. Linkava Pro removes the cap so you can list every channel at once and reorder them freely — put WhatsApp first for a conference in Asia, LinkedIn first for a corporate event.

Scanning people in

This is the half of Linkava that lives in the iOS app. Point the in-app scanner at a QR code and the person lands in your contact list in about two seconds, with no typing. Linkava reads:

  • Linkava profile codes — the full profile, every link, imported as-is.
  • LinkedIn QR codes — the code LinkedIn generates in its own app, so you can capture people who have never heard of Linkava.
  • Standard contact and URL codes — anything else on a badge or a card, saved with whatever it carries.

You can also add a contact manually, for the times someone hands you an actual piece of card.

Event tagging

Every scan is tagged with the event you were at when you made it. Six months later you don't have to remember a name to find someone — you filter by the conference, the meetup, or the trade show and there they are. This is the single feature that makes a networking contact list actually searchable, because human memory encodes where far more reliably than who.

Notes

Add a free-text note to any contact — what you talked about, what you promised to send, who introduced you. Written in the thirty seconds after the conversation, a note is the difference between a follow-up that reads like it was written by a person and one that reads like a mail merge.

The follow-up pipeline

Contacts move through three stages: new when they are scanned, contacted once you have reached out, and done when the thread has run its course. Three stages is deliberate — a sales CRM has seven and nobody maintains them. Here the only question the pipeline has to answer is “who have I not replied to yet?”

Design and Pro styling

Free profiles use Linkava's clean default layout. Pro adds premium background styles — deep solid colours, gradients, patterns and generated mesh backgrounds — plus custom QR code styling, so the code you print matches your brand rather than looking like a generic black-and-white square.

Platforms and requirements

  • Web: profile creation, editing, your QR code, and your public page work in any modern browser, on any device.
  • iOS: the Linkava app is free on the App Store and adds scanning, event tags, notes and the pipeline.
  • Android: not yet available. An Android app is in development — there is a waitlist on the homepage.
  • Scanning your code: anyone can, with a stock camera app. They do not need Linkava.
